Radio legend Steve Wight passes away
One of the finest DJs in the history of British radio, Steve Wright, has passed away aged 69.
The much loved radio personality, MBE recipient and occasional television presenter, introduced the morning zoo / comedy sketch format to British radio with a humorous collection of his fictional personalities.
His family confirmed his death “with deep sorrow and profound regret” in a statement issued on Tuesday.
