As predicted after the long winded rant about our website issue yesterday, we immediately lost 5 members from the Facebook page broadcast group within an hour. BUT on the other side of the coin, we then gained an extra 12 members, taking the total to 346.
Some light hearted troll actually commented on one of our TikTok videos recently calling Dilly a ‘Super Long Winded Irish Guy’. We do have a habit of stretching things out sometimes that could be said in just a few words.
The website issue is still not rectified. We are now on with some experts now. It still functions perfectly and orders are coming through, it’s just a niggling little issue with one page.
So, another legend has left us! Poor Shane MacGowan has transferred over to the great punk gig in the sky. It didn’t take long for people to jump on the Pogues catalogue of music. Within an hour of his passing I had an email from one of the main distributors of their records trying to seize the moment and shift a ton of stock, and within 3 hours of his passing all my Pogues records had been snapped up by collectors. Unlike other sellers I don’t jump in and double my prices when someone dies, I find that a little bit insensitive and exploitative.
May he rest in peace.
