THE FREEBOOTER LOUNGE
Simon’s first job after leaving school was in OMD’s studio, the Pink Museum in his home town Liverpool working with Michael Hass (808 State), Echo & The Bunnymen and OMD amongst others. On arriving to his now home Belfast, he started playing in a few bands before forming his drum’n’bass outfit Spree. Spree went on to release tracks on labels such as Aspect records, Formation, NIR amongst others while also being a prolific live act, playing in US and across Europe and also playing the Jazz World stage at Glastonbury.
