SATURDAY 12th SEPT 2015 see's the official launch of Belfast Underground Radio, located inside the record store of the same name on Belfast's Queen Street.

Belfast Underground are proud to announce that on Saturday 12th September 2015, Belfast Underground Radio launches and will provide a much needed and game changing musical concept, inside its Queen Street record store.

We believe this will be the only online radio station in the WORLD, that will broadcast live daily… from inside a record store in a multi camera video fashion.

Belfast Underground Radio will go out LIVE via internet streaming to the world through a 5 camera high definition video feed. The station shall build to broadcast live, 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, from inside the record store. A glass fronted station room is currently being designed specifically for the station and will fit perfectly into a corner of the long store. This also offers the music loving public the unique opportunity to catch a direct glimpse of DJs at work.

Paul Woolford under his Special Request alias popped into Belfast Underground Records 06-02-19 and delivered the mother of all guest mixes. Featuring tracks from himself Kenny Larkin, Mall Grab, LFO and many more crammed into 45 minutes of bleeped out bliss.

This man has remained at the top of his game for many many years now and continues to drop tunes that could be described as master classes in modern, accessible electronica.

We love the man and shall hopefully be welcoming Paul back to Belfast sometime in 2020.

Sunday 4th Aug 2019 will see a host of Belfast's finest DJ's take to the decks of The Marcus Ward for a night of top drawer tune selection and celebration of the life of Michael "Cull" Cullen.

On the lead up to the event, Belfast Underground shall be hosting 3 DJ shows from some of the headline artists on the bill. Further details to come early next week.

Michael Cullen tragically took his own life in January 2018, aged just 33. His talent and good spirit touched the hearts of a vast community of music and arts lovers across Ireland, he is sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

Belfast Underground Radio Schedule – w/c Mon 8th October

Belfast Underground Radio broadcasts every day via the internet to over 200 countries worldwide from a soundproof studio based inside the rear of our ground floor record shop. This setup is believed to be the only one of its kind in the world.

This week’s line-up introduces some emerging new DJ talent to the radio roster. Local up & coming Euan McBride steps in for his first residency show and the talented Noelle Mullholland drops in on Thursday for a one hour guest mix.
